The Paranormal: Do Some Really Want Answers?

WUheader

I want to start off by talking about a little show called Twin Peaks.  For those who have never heard of the show (shame on you) it was an hour long show that ran for two seasons in 1990 and ’91.  It was created about by film maker and director David Lynch.  It was about the murder of a high school girl, Laura Palmer who live in a small yet strange town.  Why do I bring up this odd yet wonderful show?  Because even though this show was barley on T.V. and was on over twenty years ago it still has a devout fan base (I’m one of them).   The fandom of the show has lasted this long because of all the loose ends and mysteries the show left behind.  Who was Bob? What was the Red Room?  Will the gum the Agent Cooper likes really come back in style next year (it’ll be 25 years)?    These are just a few of those questions that have yet to be answered.  It’s those questions that keep people coming back and have for the past 24 years.  However, what would happen if Lynch decided to make a movie or a new series to explain everything.  We’ll then that’s it, all the fun is over, nothing more to dwell on, nothing more to argue with friends over.

That in a nut shell is what I feel a lot of people in the paranormal also think.  Do all these Bigfoot hunters really want to find Bigfoot?  Let’s say, for the sake of argument that Rick Dyer’s Bigfoot turns out to be the real thing and,  all it is is a highly endangered species of ape.  All of those books and TV shows and blogs would be gone.  It would take all the fun out of it wouldn’t it?  It seems to me that a lot of people especially in the UFO and Bigfoot communities just want to keep falling down the rabbit hole.  Other people might say it’s not just the fun of a good mystery, it’s the promise of books, TV shows, and money prolonging the real journey to finding answers.  After-all the money’s in the medicine not the cure.  I’m not sure I really by into that, every podcast I listen too all I every hear is how the guest never makes to much money from his books or lectures.  No I think unless you land a show (or your David Icke) your not getting rich off the paranormal.

I for one do love a mystery and will tumble down rabbit holes all night long.  That being said I also enjoy seeing all the loose ends tied up, the solving of a puzzle is the climax to the novel, it’s the release.  Why not solve the mysteries so that we can move on to new ones?  If the Orang Pendek turns out to just be a new monkey, or if our government really does have a few Alien bodies under Wright-Patterson Air Force Base I’d be ok with that.

Yet Another Bigfoot Body?

So Rick Dyer finally got himself a real honest to god Bigfoot carcass… maybe.  If the name Rick Dyer sounds familiar to you there’s a reason for that.  Dyer is the guy (along with Tom Biscardi) who claimed to have had a dead Bigfoot in a freezer back in 2008.  Long story short it wasn’t a Bigfoot, it was an ape costume filled animal guts.  Dyer admitted to the hoax when he was found out, however he later said that men from the government came took the body and said to tell everyone it was hoax because it was a matter of national security (allegedly).

Now years later Rick is back with another alleged Bigfoot body, this one has a name “Hank”.  Dyer now claims he shot this creature back in september of 2012.  He offered up now real evidence in the form of some (you guessed it) blurry video.  Now Dyer has released pictures of the body (now preserved by taxidermy) to the public.

As you can see the “body” doesn’t seem to be very consistent.  I can chalk the differences in the flesh tone up to lighting but fur really does seem to be different shades from picture to picture.  If you take a look at the video we see a few seconds of Dyer’s Bigfoot footage.  The creature in the video is supposed to be the one he shot then it doesn’t look that same at all.  The Bigfoot in the still pictures show a very hairy head with fur and heir covering most of the top of the head.  The Bigfoot in the video appears to have a much more of a forehead and the head the almost comes to a point.  I’m just no buying this, Dyer has just cried wolf too many times and quite frankly the gut filled ape suit looked more realistic then this newest… what ever the hell this thing is.  He says that he’s had it examined and the evidence is all there, but we’ve yet to see any of it.  My biggest question is why would wait a year and half and have the thing stuffed to show it?  If I had undeniable proof of Bigfoot i.e a big dead body I would driving straight form the woods to the nearest TV news station before the thing got cold.  Perhaps he’s worried the government would be back to once again steal his trophy?  I argue that the longer you hold onto the more risk you run getting it confiscated again(allegedly).  I say get it out there before anyone can do anything about it.  No I just can’t put much stock into it and I don’t think I’m alone.  If this does turn about to real then I’ll eat my hat and be as ecstatic as everyone else, also if it is real man does Bigfoot look stupid.

Man Made Monsters; Golems, Tulpas, and Thought Forms

Posted in write up's with tags , , , , on April 1, 2012 by fknoop24

There’s a synagogue in Prague.  It’s referred to as the New Old Synagogue.  What’s so interesting about this place you may ask?  Other then it’s the oldest functioning synagogue, there are people out there that well tell you that a golem’s lifeless body lies in the attic.  It’s an interesting story to say the least.

In the year 1580 a Priest by the name of Taddeush was planning to blame jewish people of “ritual murder”.  Rabbi Judah Loew ben Bezalel got wind of the rumors and decided to do something about it.  The Rabbi asked for help in the form of a dream question. He got his answer.  Rabbi Loew was to make a golem out of clay, to destroy his enemies.  Rabbi Loew and two assistants a pupil and his son-in-law.  The three men made preparations and sculpted a giant body our of clay from the river bed of the  River Moldau.  Using specific rituals they brought the clay form to life.  The golem seemed to have accomplished his mission.  When the creature was no longer needed (or perhaps the golem  become unruly and had to be dealt with) Rabbi Loew took the golem to the attic of the synogogue and reversed the ritual.

Why it is a great story and indeed no one seems to be allowed to go into the attic (not even the Nazi’s would go up there) did it actually happen that way.  It’s a legend and maybe the only way to know for sure is to get up in that fables attic.  However making a creature out of clay is not the only way to make a monster.  Sometimes you can just think it.

You watch a movie about a large werewolf terrorizing small town.  That night you go to do bed and the only thing you can think of is that wolf.  It’s stuck in your mind and it’s all you can think of for days.  After maybe a week or so a story from a nearby town about a werewolf stalking about starts making the rounds.  This is pretty much a Tulpa.  A Tulpa or thought form  is something created by pure concentration.  It is said by just concentrating hard enough you can manifest anything just by thinking about it.  And I believe to a point thats true.  I’ve never manifested a cryptid but there have been times when I imagined scenarios the ended up happening.  For example I used to deliver pizza while I went to school.  A year or so after graduating I delivered a pizza to a large local business and though “I wonder if they have any need for graphic design around here”.  I wondering about it off and on for a couple of weeks and low and behold I now work there.

The concept of a tulpa derives from Tibet.  Tibetan monks seem to be the first people who perfected the art of the tulpa.  The concept made it’s way to the west in the 19th century after Alexandra David-Neel claimed to have manifested a monk who later grew a mind of his own and later had to be destroyed.

The concept of a thought form would be an intriguing way to explain so many paranormal topics.  Do people see Bigfoot because they do nothing but think about Bigfoot and so perhaps the manifest the creature it self.  Could the same be said about UFO’s or even ghost?  It might just be a little to good of an explanation.

Just promise me this if you try to make your very own tulpa don’t make anything to scary.

Sonderburo 13; The Secret Nazi UFO Squad

Posted in write up's with tags , , on March 11, 2012 by fknoop24

Even though the term Sonderburo 13 comes off sounding like spanish and it may be (I do not speak spanish) it is actually the name given to a covert group under the Nazi regime during WW II.  This group’s purpose was none other then to investigate UFO’s.  By the middle of World War Two almost every participating country in the war had some sort of group looking into cases of unexplained objects in the sky.  The name of this black project was Project Uranus.  Sonderburo 13 first appeared in a book by french author and Ufologist Henry Durrant.  The tale of Sonderburo 13 eventually made it’s way into Tim Good’s book Above Top Secret.

The group’s first case came in 1942 when luftwaffe pilot Hauptman Fischer reported claims of a strange object in the sky.  The pilot had been transferred to a  secret location in Norway by the name of Banak.  After arriving he was ordered to intercept a strange object flying over the base.  Fischer described seeing a “Luftwl” or “flying whale” some 300 feet long.  Fischer’s sighting would later be blamed on madness form being stationed in such a cold climate.

On Febuary 12th 1944 S13 investigated the Kum-mersdorf rocket test center.  At the test center were none other then Heinrich Himmler and Josef Goebbels along with other high ranking Nazi officials.  They were there to attend a test of an experimental rocket.  Not surprisingly the launched was filmed.  What was surprising was the when the film was processed a strange spherical orb was seen following the rocket.

Later that year in September a German test pilot  reported not only being followed by two bright lights but also claimed to have seen a 300 foot long craft.  Could this be the same huge object the Fisher has reported seeing years earlier?  The pilot tried to intercept the craft but it was moving far to fast, close to 1,200 miles an hour.

It’s a very interesting story it’s got everything, Nazi’s, UFO’s, a secret group.  It would be a great account of the UFO’s during WWII, if it were true.  That’s right in 1970 Durrant claimed in his book The Black Book of Flying Saucers that he had made up the whole story.  Why would he do such a thing?  Durrant says he made the story up to see just how many UFO authors would do proper research into the subjects they were looking into.  So it was all just a test and seems Tim Good failed.

Why it is not hard to believe the Nazi’s would have such a group (we did) it seems no documents have ever surfaced about the group or the cases they investigated.  Also no one has ever seen the supposed rocket film with sphere shaped UFO.  There also seems to be a lack of resources for Sonderburo 13 which leads me to believe that yes, Durrant probably made the whole thing up.  I mean a story like this, if true there would most likely have a few books written on the subject by now.  A part of me wonders if Durrant really made it up of he was just covering for some reason but thats just me wanting to making more out of what really there… maybe.

Haarp and Sky Sounds; Are they Connected?

Posted in write up's with tags , on February 21, 2012 by fknoop24

A few weeks ago I wrote a short post about how there seem to be a lot of sky sounds in and around Canada.  It is true that most of the sounds center around Canada, Alaska and Northern USA.  That’s not to say that there aren’t ones all around the world, but I’m going out on a limb and saying 70% are at least in the Northern Hemisphere.

There is also something else up north which has stirred a bit of controversy.  Haarp (High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program) is located in Alaska and many people seem to think that there is more to Haarp then meets the eye.  What exactly is Haarp?  According to their website they are an endeavor to study the earth’s ionosphere to research better communication for both public and private sectors.  Sounds legit, but some say that Haarp is up to way more then studying the ionosphere.  Could Haarp actually be in the business of weather control?  If you ask Dr.  Rosalie Bartell she will confirm that the US military is indeed working on technology that will be able to produce massive thunderstorms and flooding.  Some of harps experiments include bouncing energy off the ionosphere into the earths crust.  Perhaps these test are some way of producing earthquakes.  Many credit Haarp with the earthquake in Chille last year.  The reason why many speculate that Haarp was behind the Chille earthquake and many other recent quakes because of strange almost auroa borealis type light in the sky just before the quakes begin.

I’m not sure what’s up with Haarp but I don’t trust them.  I believe Haarp could be up to new things perhaps a why of starting earthquakes with out the telltale signs of lights in the sky.  A lot of people who have reported strange sky sounds have also said that they felt a low rumble from the ground.  It will be interesting to see if those small rumbles become full out quakes.  Or is there something else brand new up Haarp’s sleeve?  Perhaps I’m being a panic monger but if you look into Haarp you may indeed find some interesting things.

The Darkness in the Room; Delving into Shadow People

Posted in write up's with tags , , , on February 15, 2012 by fknoop24

Your in your bedroom, a place were you feel safe. Suddenly you wake with the realization that you can’t move. You can move your eyes around maybe tilt your head, just a little bit. Then you can see it just in the corner of your eye. A tall black being it may look like the shadow of a person or perhaps black smoke swirling in the shape of a human. The thing moves toward were you are sleeping, it crawls on your bed and then on top of you draining you of energy. This experience may only last a few minutes but to the people who have gone through such a thing, three minutes is a lifetime.

There are many names for this phenomena, sleep paralysis, old hag syndrome, but most people just refer to the frightening beings they see the shadow people. I wrote a post awhile back about the difference between ghost and shadow people and did a pretty lousy job going about it. I seemed to have totally missed the point of shadow people and what they could do. I’m here to retify that and put forth a much better article.

Shadow people do not seem to be mere ghost, no they are much more. I’ve always thought that what ever ghost were they couldn’t harm you, shadow beings seem to be different. Some appear to be pretty nasty, it is reported that they will hold you down by sitting on your chest and then seem to syphon the very energy from your body. There have also been reports of more shy or skittish shadow people perhaps these guys are still working up the nerve to steal your energy.

But what exactly could these things be if not ghost (what are ghost for that matter). Let’s take a look at the different types of shadow being’s that have been seen. There is of course just your basic run of the mill people shaped beings. They just look like someone’s shadow. In some cases these basic shadow beings have taken the form of a familiar friend or family member.  Some off the more frightening ones may even appear as a mist or black smoke.  Even though these basic beings may not be the meanest looking things out there, don’t be fooled. Some of these beings also wear hats. In most cases it appears to a fedora or wide brim hat.  These guys seem to be more curious then anything else and are not as threading.  Some of these beings appear with red eyes.  Of course the red eyed shadow people are said to be the embodiment of pure evil.  There have even been reports of shadow animals.

Some of these be beings may just peer around corners or hide in the shadows but some these things seem for more interested in us.  The phenomenon known as sleep paralysis is pretty much described as what I had in the first paragraph.  Victims of SP wake up from sleep, not as slow wake but a sudden jolt and they seem to be almost fully  awake.  The person can barely move, just their eyes and possibly a little movement.  Somehow these beings seem to be the cause of SP using to steal (some say) the victims life energy.  The paralysis usually only last a few minutes and occurs in a person’s early twenties.

But what are these things.  As I stated before I don’t believe them to be what we think of as ghost.  One theory suggest that these shadow beings are some type of demon or demons.  It would be interesting to find out if there are any correlation between a shadow person encounter and possible possession.  Could these beings be after more then just your energy perhaps if given the chance they will take your whole body.  Another idea is that shadow people might be things from another dimension.  Is so are they aware of us?  And how does SP fit into their methods?  The sometimes sinister methods of shadow people make me wonder what kind messed up dimension they are living in.  Could shadow people be aliens?  There are a few different ways to look at this.  Are the shadow people themselves visitors from another world, or just something that aliens project to cover their tracks?  Maybe the shadow people are just thoughts projected into the heads of people who have had SP.  These people could have been victims of foulplay of aliens and not even know it. They say that sleep paralysis only last a few minuets but perhaps it last longer and only feels like a minute or too.  It certainly is food for thought.

If anyone out there has an experience with sleep paralysis of a shadow person encounter I would like to hear about it.  Write me at paraviewblog@gmail.com or leave it as comment.  Maybe we can investigate it further and see whats going on.

Ghost Towns #2: Pripyat, Chernobyl

Posted in write up's with tags , , , on February 8, 2012 by fknoop24

On April 26th 1986 reactor number four of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant exploded after a large power surge.  The explosion sent off a chain of events that ended up covering the nearby town of Pripyet and much of the surrounding area in radioactive smoke.  It is known as the worst nuclear disaster of all time  and even to this day the area is still unsafe for human habitation.  However there might be other other things living in the shadow of the now abandoned power plant.

Many of us know the story of the Mothman and Point Pleasant West Virginia.  The Mothman was described as a large black humanoid with wings and pricing red eyes. Some say that the Mothman was some kind of harbinger of Doom.  Thirteen months to day after it was first seen Point Pleasent’s Silver bridge would collapse and fall into the Ohio River.  The people of Pripyet seem to have had a similar experience leading up to the Chernobyl disaster.  The Black Bird of Chernobyl resembled the Mothman in many ways.  It doesn’t seem to have been around for as long only a couple of weeks as opposed to a little over a year.  Wittiness report strange phone calls and nightmares both of which were prevalent in the Mothman reports.  The creature was sighted on and off for about two weeks leading up the accident.  It was reported to have been seen flying away from the power plant just before the explosion.

The town of Pripyet was built specifically for the workers of  the power station.  It’s composed of modest apartment blocks, a school, and a hospital The town even has a small fairground which was set to open on May 1st five days after the disaster occurred, it never opened.  Reports have said that disembodied voices and be heard around the fairgrounds and figures can sometime be seen on the rides.  Could these be the ghost of children that never got to rides those rides?  The school has much the same activity.  At night if you look into the windows of the apartment building shadowy figures can be seen darting about.

The area around the power plant even has reports of it’s own cryptid.  The Chernobyl  Kaptar is said to be a humanoid creature that has been mutated by the radiation, think of it like a mutated yeti.  Reports on this creature are sparse it might just be an urban legend, or something cooked up by the authorities to keep people out of the contaminated zone. Or maybe the Kaptar and the Black Bird of Chernobyl are one and the same?

If you feel like visiting Pripyet it’s not going to be easy.  You will need special permission after special permission, then make it through three check points and of course once you get there you must protect your self from the deadly radiation with radiation suits and all sorts of meters and detecters.  However if you do let me know how it went.
