*NEWS* Has Fosset Found the 4th Dimension?

Posted in New's Clips on February 29, 2008 by fknoop24

Ok, I found this one rather interesting since I’m reading a lot about Dimensions and stuff.  Some of you might remember Millionaire Steve Fosset who disappeared  on Sept. 3rd.  It was  said that  he was flying around looking for a  place to set a land speed recored.  Now some of his friends have come out to say that he might have been looking for a pathway into the 4th dimension.  Apparently he was rather taken by the possibility of a 4th dimension and talked about it a lot.  Heres the link

*NEWS* Russian Bird-boy

Posted in New's Clips on February 29, 2008 by fknoop24

In Volgograd Russia a 7 year old boy has been found by child services and taken away form his 31 year old mother. The two had been living in a two room apartment filled with birds. The mother cared more for her birds then her young son.

When child services came to get the boy he spoke only in chirps and by flapping his arms. you can check out the full story by the link below. I do admit though that this is a pretty disheartening story.

Books I’m Reading

Posted in Uncategorized on February 28, 2008 by fknoop24

I’ve picked up a few good books that I am currently making my way through.

  • PSIence, How New Discoveries in Quantam Physics and New Science may Explain the Existence of Paranormal Phenomena– By Marie D. Jones
  • Speak with the Dead– By Konstantinos
  • Ghost-By Hans Holzer

Ill let you know how may reading goes when I’m done with them all.

If anyone has any good books they think I should pick up let me know and I’ll give them consideration. I’m not really into the preachy religious type of stuff or books where people like to say that their opinion on the subject is fact, more like stuff thats put out there in a very normal view and lays it all out and lets me make up my own mind.

Also, if anyone knows of a good easy to understand book on quantum physics that isn’t going to go over my head let me know about. You can either e-mail me at or just leave a comment. Thanks.

30 Days of Night Blu-ray Review

Posted in reviews on February 22, 2008 by fknoop24

First off let me say that I rather enjoyed Steve Niles’s graphic novel and most of the sequels. So I was really excited when I heard of this movie coming out. I regret not seeing it in theaters but when the blu-ray came out I jumped on it and It did not dissapoint. Its a different take on how we perceive vampires. The vampires in the movie have their own language as well as odd facial features and are very primitive and animal-like. All and all it’s a good movie it does get a little slow around the end until the climax but that was the only real problem I had with the whole thing. If you love Vampire movies, or those types of movies were the an overwhelming sense of isolation (like John Carpenters The Thing or Alien) or just well made horror movies in general this one will not disappoint.

As far as the blu-ray goes, it’s the best HD transfer I’ve seen since Underworld Evolution. The snow looks great as does the flying blood. This is really one of those movies where you can see a huge difference from SD to HD.

*NEWS* Satanic Cult Rampage

Posted in New's Clips on February 21, 2008 by fknoop24

There seems to be a rather bold Satanic Cult on the loose in Philly PA.. They seem to have been vandalizing local churches. Now, when I say Satanic Cult it’s probably some people who have nothing to do with real satanism, I’m not one myself but I do know the ideas behind at least the LeVey Satanist who have better things to do then vandalize churches

I Finally Got Around to Reading Jay and Grant’s Book

Posted in reviews on February 16, 2008 by fknoop24

I know that the book has been out for awhile but I just never got around to buying it. If your a fan of TAPS it’s great. It’s basically a case book of the more note-worthy cases. Do keep in mind when you get about half way through you start running into cases that are on the Ghost Hunters show so it does have a daja-vu factor but they to go into stuff that you don’t see on the show which still makes it worth reading. It has a nice glossary and ghost hunting guide in the back (however if you planning on buying the book to learn how to hunt ghost you won’t find much of step by step guide. I would love to see a second edition come out with updated cases and a more in depth ghost hunting guide.
